Inflatable Military Decoys & Training Devices

In the early 1990's the U.S. Military identified a need to have multispectral decoys to emulate key weapons and equipment.

The program was primarily to have decoy inflatables for the enemy to destroy, rather than our actual military assets.

The inflatable replicas can be used as training devices or decoys.

This program expanded from asset decoys into enemy identification training decoy systems.

Inflatables such as T-72 Tanks, Scuds, SA-6's and many others are used today at military training ranges so our pilots can correctly identify
a decoy from a real asset.


Aerostar can design and manufacture any military fighting vehicle as a full size
inflatable replica.

Design features can include any level of visual fidelity as well as special radar reflective materials and thermal heating systems.

Decoys are specially designed to simulate the actual military equipment as closely as possible for thermal image and can be enhanced to simulate engines, mufflers, drivers and jet exhausts.
