The TIF-12KTM Tactical Tethered Aerostat System
is the smallest size of
aerostat in our complete
turn-key, easy to use, rapid deployment,
tethered aerostat system family.
Currently under development, the system
will consist of a 61' long aerostat on
smaller trailer / docking station
with winch
system.
The standard system configuration will fly
user payloads weighing up to
200 lbs. to 1500' AGL.
Minor customizations of the standard system
configurations
and/or lighter user payloads will accommodate even
higher
flight altitudes
with this size of aerostat. |

The TIF-12KTM design utilizes the
years of
experience and manufacturing processes
developed with our standard line of TIF-6000
aerostats utilized for video relay over the last
two decades.
As a tactical response platform, the TIF-12KTM
system
can be used in places where the need
for in-the-field command, communications, intelligence
gathering,
surveillance and
reconnaissance
are paramount to success.
Cameras,
communications equipment, sensor arrays and monitoring
devices are just a few
of the payloads which can be flown.
The combined power and fiber optic tether line allows
the user to concentrate only on the
type of payload to fly
instead of power and
payload control needs. |

As with all of the turn-key Tethered Aerostat Systems,
Aerostar's proprietary Integrated Telemetry SystemTM (ITSTM) allows for
instantaneous monitoring of the aerostat and all systems as
well as the wind direction, speed, GPS location and
temperature.
