The TIF-120KTM Tethered Aerostat System
is the largest size of aerostat
in our complete
turn-key, easy to use, rapid deployment,
tethered aerostat system family
Currently under development, the system
will consist of a 130' long aerostat on
swivel gantry
docking station, with a winch
system and onboard power.
The standard system configuration will fly
user payloads weighing up to
750 lbs. to 5000' AGL.
Customization of the standard system configurations
and/or lighter user payloads will accommodate even higher
flight altitudes
with this size of aerostat. |

The TIF-120KTM will provide the
user with the
industry's easiest to use, mobile aerial platform
which can be deployed and operational within
hours of arrival on site.The TIF-120KTM system can be
used on land or
on a ship as a test-bed platform or for in-the-field command,
control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and
reconnaissance
(CXISR) activities.
Cameras,
communications equipment, atmospheric
test equipment, video equipment, radar arrays,
sensor
arrays and monitoring devices are just some
of the payloads
which can be flown.
The combined power
and fiber optic tether line allows the user to concentrate
only on the type of payload to fly. |

As with all of the turn-key Tethered Aerostat Systems,
Aerostar's proprietary Integrated Telemetry SystemTM (ITSTM) allows for
instantaneous monitoring of the aerostat and all systems as
well as the wind direction, speed, GPS location and
temperature.
