In accordance with FAA regulations, replacement parts for all Aerostar/Raven hot air balloons must be produced and certified under FAA Type Certificate A15CE or produced in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations 21.303 “Replacement and Modification Parts”.  This section contains in depth illustrations of the various components and/or models of our hot air balloon systems to assist you in identifying the replacement part(s) needed to maintain each Aerostar/Raven hot air balloon.

Replacement parts for Aerostar/Raven hot air balloons are available through our network of Parts Distributors.  These distributors can assist in identifying the proper part(s) necessary to maintain your Aerostar/Raven balloon.  If they do not have the required item in stock they can order the item for you.  This section contains the contact information for all of the Official Aerostar Replacement Parts Distributors.

In addition to and in accordance with the FAA regulations, every Aerostar/Raven hot air balloon must be inspected and maintained in accordance with the most current revision  of the Aerostar Continued Airworthiness Instructions or ACAI, manual.  The ACAI manual, which is accessible and downloadable for this web-site, contains detailed information for the performance of the required Annual or 100-hour inspections, and the methods and techniques for the proper maintenance of the various components of our hot air balloon systems.

In accordance with FAA regulations, each Aerostar/Raven hot air balloon manufactured and certified under FAA Type Certificate A15CE must have the required inspections performed by an FAA certificated repair facility.  In addition most maintenance operations, other than “Preventive Maintenance”, must be performed and returned to service by an appropriately rated FAA repair facility.  Over the last 40 years Aerostar/Raven has provided factory training for the proper inspection and maintenance of our hot air balloon systems. This section contains a listing of repair facilities that have attended the Aerostar Maintenance Seminar in recent years and are also certified by the FAA as a Repair Station rated for Aerostar/Raven hot air balloons.
