The TIF-50K^TM Tethered Aerostat System
is the third largets size of aerostat in our complete turn-key, easy to use, rapid deployment, tethered aerostat system family

Currently under development, the system will consist of a 97' long aerostat on the same basic design of the swivel gantry docking station and winch system as the TIF-25K^TM.

The standard system configuration will fly user payloads weighing up to 500 lbs. to 1000' AGL.  Minor customizations of the standard system configurations and/or lighter user payloads will accommodate even higher flight altitudes
with this size of aerostat.

Travel Position

The TIF-50K^TM system can be used as a
test-bed platform or for in-the-field command,
control, communications, intelligence,
surveillance and reconnaissance
(C^XISR) activities. 

Larger and heavier payloads can be accommodated
by the larger size aerostat.  The same types of
payloads can be flown on the TIF-50K^TM as on the
TIF-25K^TM, such as cameras, communications equipment, atmospheric test equipment,
sensor arrays and monitoring devices.

The combined power and fiber optic tether line
allows the user to concentrate only on the type of
payload to fly instead of power and payload control needs.  On-board generators provide complete
system power for the aerostat, docking station
and for ground applications.

Integrated Telemetry System^TM

The same basic docking station design is
used for the TIF-25K^TM and TIF-50K^TM
aerostat envelopes.

The docking station has a swivel gantry so
the aerostat will nose into the wind and
weather vane as the wind changes direction. 

It is designed to be either a bumper pull or
gooseneck pull and the mooring mast
collapses for travel/transport.  The system
is completely DOT compliant.
